The Rosédo lighthouse is located in the north of the island of Bréhat on the land of Rosédo, a French island in the department of Côtes-d'Armor north of the tip of Arcouest in Brittany and indicates the Trieux pass.
Originally, with its twin, the Peacock Lighthouse, the alignment of the two lighthouses allowed to avoid the Horaine reef off the Peacock Point.
A semaphore is also present nearby; 32 m high, it was built in 1862.
