The Barrière de l'Esseillon, or Esseillon forts, is a series of five fortifications located in France on the commune of Aussois and Avrieux in the Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region.

Built in the 19th century on a rocky lock closing the upper valley of the Arc upstream from Modane, these fortifications had the role of protecting the Cisalpine part of the kingdom of Sardinia from a possible French invasion. It includes four forts and a redoubt, which bear the names of contemporary members of the House of Savoy.

Four of the forts have been classified as historical monuments since June 27, 1983 and December 30, 1991 for Victor-Emmanuel and Marie-Thérèse
