The Porte des Forgerons, in Alsatian Schmiedtor, is one of the old fortified gates of the Molsheim city walls. Built in the 14th century, it is the only gate of the city which remained after the 19th century. Since 1929, it is registered in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments
