Facts and practical information
The church in Víðimýri - a gushing temple from the 19th century, located in the village of Víðimýri, near Varmahlíð in northern Iceland. He is one of five survivors survivors covered with turf. Thanks to the preservation of the original structure, it is considered the most valuable object of nineteenth-century Icelandic architecture. The church is under the care of the National Museum of Iceland and was reported to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
