Byggðasafn Skagfirðinga - a museum in Iceland in the commune of Skagofjörður.
Established in 1948 in the buildings of the old farm, which the last residents left in 1947. The museum was made available for sightseeing in 1952.
In peat houses, which are original farm buildings, exhibits related to everyday life in the countryside in the 18th and 19th centuries are shown. In addition to them, there are two wooden houses, characteristic of the Icelandic architecture of the 19th century. One of them exhibits objects from the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. There is a cafe in that building. The second of the wooden houses houses a souvenir shop and museum administration.
