Maimun Palace, Medan

Maimun Palace, an architectural gem in the heart of Medan, Indonesia, stands as a testament to the cultural amalgamation and regal heritage of the region. This majestic castle, completed in 1888, was designed by the Dutch architect Theodoor van Erp and remains one of the most distinctive landmarks in the city of Medan.

Maimun Palace, or Istana Maimun, features 30 rooms, including a main hall that has hosted various ceremonial events and royal gatherings.
