Known as the most expensive house in Iran, this majestic building was constructed between 1962 and 1966 by the renowned Iranian-Armenian architect Vartan Hovanesian.

Sabet Pasal, also referred to as the Mihan Mansion, is notable for its distinctive design, which harmoniously blends Persian architectural elements with modernist aesthetics. The mansion was commissioned by Mohsen Sabet, a successful businessman and the owner of Mihan Dairy, who aspired to create a luxurious residence that would mirror his social status and love for art and culture.

The structure is situated in the northern part of Tehran, in the affluent district of Elahieh, and spans a vast area of approximately 5,000 square meters. It rises with elegance, showcasing an exterior adorned with intricate brickwork that pays homage to traditional Iranian craftsmanship. The interior, meanwhile, is a showcase of luxury, featuring opulent furnishings, elaborate decorations, and state-of-the-art amenities that catered to the sophisticated lifestyle of its original occupants.

After the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the mansion was seized by the new government and has since been under the ownership of the Mostazafan Foundation of Islamic Revolution. Despite changes in ownership and the passage of time, Sabet Pasal continues to captivate visitors and architecture enthusiasts with its timeless beauty and historical importance.
