Conchiglie

Conchiglie, frequently referred to as "shells" or "seashells" is a delightful type of pasta shaped like a shell. Typically made from durum wheat, it is also available in various colors, tinted with natural ingredients such as tomato extract, squid ink, or spinach extract. This unique shape is perfect for holding sauces, ensuring every bite is flavorful. There's even a smaller version known as conchigliette. The name "conchiglie" is derived from the Italian word for seashell, "conchiglia" which shares the same Greek root as the English word "conch" meaning "shell."
