Nanzoin temple, Fukuoka

Nestled in the lush greenery of Sasaguri, Fukuoka, the Nanzoin Temple is a serene sanctuary that attracts both pilgrims and tourists alike. Nanzoin Temple, however, stands out not only for its massive Buddha, which measures 41 meters in length and 11 meters in height but also for the peaceful environment it offers to visitors. The statue represents Buddha at the moment of his entry into Nirvana and is a symbol of peace and enlightenment.
