Takaozan Yakuoin is a temple located on Mt. Takao in Hachioji City, Tokyo. It is one of the three main temples of the Kanto region of the Chizan school of Shingon Buddhism. The official name of the temple is Takaozan Yakuoin Yuki-ji Temple, but it is generally called simply "Mount Takao" or "Mount Takaozan Yakuoin". Yakuoin and the cedar trees lining the approach to the temple have been selected as one of the 88 most scenic spots in Hachioji.
