Koninji Temple is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Kokuzo-cho, Nara City. The name of the temple is Kokuzo-zan and the principal deity is Kokuzo-Bosatsu. The temple is located in the southern part of Nara City, near Tenri City, on a small hill in the middle of Yamanobe Kita Road. It is famous for the Jusan-mairi. It is commonly called "Takahi no Kokuzo-san.
