Tsuruoka Catholic Church Tenshudo is a church located in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture.
Built in 1903 in the Romanesque style around the middle of the European century, the church has been designated as a National Important Cultural Property since 1979. It is known as the only church in Japan with a black statue of the Virgin.
