Katsurahama Beach is located in Urato, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, facing the Pacific Ocean. The beach is also the subject of a Tosa folk song, "Yosakoi-bushi," and the bronze statue of Ryoma Sakamoto standing overlooking the Pacific Ocean is known as one of Kochi's most famous sights.
