When Is the Best Time To Visit Kuwait?
The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Kuwait depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.
Climate of Kuwait
Kuwait is a lowland country in the dry tropical climate zone, where most of the land is semi-desert and desert. It is characterized by low cloud cover, scanty rainfall, occurring mainly in the winter semester (from 25 mm inland to 180 mm at sea) and extreme air temperatures.
Winters are cold (around 15°C), with strong north winds (Shamal) that cause sandstorms. Summers, on the other hand, are long, beginning in April and ending in September, and are extremely dry and hot, with temperatures often exceeding 45°C. Only on the coast, cooled by sea breezes, temperatures are somewhat milder.
