National Library of Latvia
The National Library of Latvia, also known as Castle of Light, is a national cultural institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture of Latvia. The National Library of Latvia was formed in 1919 after the independent Republic of Latvia was proclaimed in 1918.
Riga Merchant Guild
The Riga Merchant Guild, also known as the Large Guild of Riga or St. Mary's Guild was a German Merchant guild in Riga, the Latvian capital, which existed from 1354 to 1936. A precursor, the Heilig-Kreuz-Gilde was founded around 1252.
