When Is the Best Time To Visit Mali?

The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Mali depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.

Tourist Season in Mali

It's best to visit Mali in January and December - that's when you can count on very good weather in many parts of the country.

Also, choosing months such as February, March and November is a good time to travel, but sometimes there may be weather conditions that make the visit difficult. We can expect worse weather in June, July, August, September and also in October, although the journey is possible, this is not the best time. The weather can then be very unpredictable, with a tendency to be bad. It is better to avoid April and May as this is when the worst weather of the year occurs.
