The Diocesan Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus also known simply as "El Expiatorio" is a temple dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, located in León, Guanajuato, in Mexico. It is of neo-Gothic style. Its construction began on July 8, 1921 and was completed on March 20, 2012 with the visit of Pope Benedict XVI. It is located within the territory of the Parish of the Divine Redeemer, in turn, in the Deanery of San Sebastian.
