When Is the Best Time To Visit Moldova?
The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Moldova depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.
Tourist Season in Moldova
Moldova is best visited during the summer months, from June to August, when you can enjoy warm and sunny weather throughout the country. However, even in the summer, rain is not unavoidable, so it is advisable to stock up on an umbrella or rain cover. Long days encourage all forms of active recreation (walks, bicycle escapades). Without worrying about the aura, it is also possible to organize touring excursions combined with sightseeing and hiking in Moldova's vineyards.
Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October), is also a good time to travel to Moldova. There is no heat and crowds of tourists, so we can count on a more intimate holiday. It's warm and sunny, and nature in its spring or autumn setting makes sightseeing and recreation more enjoyable.
The winter months, from November to March, are outside the tourist season. When traveling during this period, expect more cloud cover, falling temperatures and the occurrence of snowfall, which can make a visit somewhat difficult.
