Facts and practical information
The Groote Kerk is a church in the Dutch town of Maassluis built between 1629 and 1639. On October 9, 1639, the church was officially opened. The church is known for its Garrels organ, among other things. The Groote Kerk was so named because Maassluis already had a smaller church built around the year 1500, which was closed after the Groote Kerk was opened.
