Started in 1974, the Houweling Telecom Museum houses the history in the field of telecommunications in the South Holland city of Rotterdam and the region. The many facets are expressed in equipment, words, images and sound. A number of enthusiastic former KPN employees are working on the expansion of the museum and the presentation of the collection.
What's on display in the museum: terminal equipment that was used with customers, all kinds of forms and developments of telecommunications, telephone exchanges in operation, parts of cable network, tools and clothing, measuring equipment, information about district exchanges and ISRA points, picture material, documentation, etc.
