The Remigius Church is the Protestant village church of the Gelderland town of Hengelo. The church is first mentioned in 1152. The present building is a Gothic pseudobasilica with a large tower. The oldest part of the church is the choir from about 1400. The nave and tower date from the second half of the 15th century.
Inside the church are wall paintings of the twelve apostles, the three kings and Saints Agatha and Margaret from the first half of the 15th century. The pulpit and the candlesticks date from the 17th century. Two bells from 1406 and 1612 hang in the 65 meter high tower. The organ from 1894 by the organ builder J.
