Facts and practical information

Mill III is one of the three rampart and stanchion mills located on the ramparts of the city of Heusden. The mill was the last of the three mills to be rebuilt during the reconstruction of the fortress. Construction was completed in 1975. The Maas Mill served as a model during construction.

The mill is regularly operated by volunteers. Visits are possible when the sails are turning, usually on Wednesday evenings.
