Dry season - the best time to visit all the islands. Admittedly, rain will not be avoided, but it is not able to interfere with relaxation. Sunny days are conducive to sightseeing, beachcombing and water sports.
In April, Saipan lavishly celebrates the day of the island's patron saint San Vicente Fiesta Saipan - combined with music, dancing and street parades.

The rainy season bringing increased rains, storms and winds. Temperatures rise by several degrees, the air becomes hot and humid.
In July, a week-long Liberation Day Festival is celebrated - full of carnival fun, fireworks, local music and food.
Saipan hosts canoe races (Micronesian Cup) in October and the annual Marians Windsurfing Cup in November. These attract water sports enthusiasts from surrounding islands and neighboring countries.
Also celebrated in October is the Rota Island Fiesta (Rota's Fiesta). Then you can taste local cuisine and take part in colorful street processions, concerts and folk dance shows.
