The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Oman depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.
Climate of Oman
Oman's wide geographic variation affects its climate, which changes throughout the year. In winter it is cool and pleasant, while in summer it is more humid and hot. During the summer, average temperatures range from 30°C to 40°C, with temperatures reaching 50°C in the Rub' al Khali desert.
The hottest time of the year is June and August. Precipitation is low or nonexistent, especially in the northern part of the country, where averages do not exceed 100 mm per year. In contrast, the climate of the eastern and southern coasts is somewhat different, conditioned by the influence of the monsoon, translating into higher humidity, slightly milder temperatures and more frequent rainfall.
