Climate of Palau
Palau is located in an eminently humid equatorial climate zone, shaped by warm ocean currents. It is characterized by high temperatures reaching 27°C - 30°C and humidity of 80%. The water temperature is also high, hovering between 27°C - 29°C throughout the year. Rainfall is varied, sometimes frequent and abundant - oscillating around 3800 mm.
The islands can be distinguished between the dry season and the rainy season
The rainy season occurs between June and October. Most rainfall is recorded then, and rains occur in the form of violent but short-lived downpours and thunderstorms. Days are bright, but sultry, humid and hot.
The dry season lasts from November to May. Most days are sunny and cloudless; admittedly, there may be some fleeting rains, but they do not interfere with leisure activities.
