Facts and practical information
Szamotuły Castle - is located in Szamotuły in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. It consists of a rebuilt castle with Halszki Tower and auxiliary buildings, located in a historic park. The foundations of Gothic towers from the beginning of the 16th century have also been preserved. Since 1551 the first printing house in Wielkopolska, which published books in Polish and Czech, was operating in the castle.
