The bench of Józef Ignacy Kraszewski - monument unveiled on September 12, 2008.
The initiative to build the second Kraszewski monument in Biała Podlaska was taken by Prof. Krzysztof Stępnik from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The author of the monument is sculptor Grzegorz Maślewski, lecturer at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The construction was sponsored by an honorary committee chaired by the city's mayor, Andrzej Czapski. The cast of the monument was made in Niepołomice.
The first Kraszewski monument in Biała Podlaska was erected in 1928 at the intersection of Zamkowa and Warszawska streets.
