Rectoral Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kalisz - a rectoral church formerly belonging to the Bernardine Order, now to the Jesuits. It is located at the beginning of Stawiszyńska Street in Kalisz.
A late Renaissance temple, erected in 1592-1622 from the foundation of Archbishop Stanislaus Karnkowski. A one-nave building with late-Baroque and Rococo furnishings from the eighteenth century. On the vault and the walls there is a Rococo polychromy from the third quarter of the eighteenth century, painted by Father W. Zebrowski, a Bernardine friar. In the nave, on the left side, there is an epitaph of Aleksander Lubienski, a judge of Kalisz and his two wives - Antonina Wężykówna and Marianna of Radomicka. In the altar there is an image of St. Anthony painted against the background of Poznan, S. Ratajski 1658.
The church functions as the Shrine of the Merciful Heart of Jesus because of the image of the Merciful Jesus inside, painted according to the instructions of Fr. Sopoćko, by Professor Ludomir Sleńdziński.
