The cemetery on Henryka Sienkiewicza Street in Katowice is one of the most important necropolises in Katowice, founded in 1911. It is owned by the Katowice parish of Saint Apostles Peter and Paul. There are some historical tombstones in the cemetery.
In the interwar period a brick modernist funeral chapel was built in the cemetery. Its tower has two mosaics. In 1969 a heating pipe was laid through the cemetery and in 1983 the cemetery was enlarged.
