Church of the Holy Trinity in Gdansk - a late Gothic temple erected for the Franciscans settled in 1419 in the Old Suburbs, the southern part of historic Gdansk. The church is part of the former monastery complex of Friars Minor Conventual, which includes St. Ann's chapel, a half-timbered house and monastery buildings with a cloister adjacent to the church from the south. After the Reformation in 1522, the Gdansk Academic Gymnasium and library were established here. After 1872 it was the seat of the City Museum, now a branch of the National Museum. Valuable work of late Gothic brick architecture, with characteristic stepped gables of the nave and chancel elevations and small towers contrasting with the massive body of the church.
