St. George's Church - a modernist parish church of the Catholic Church located on Swoboda Street in Poznań.
The parish was erected in 1988. Shortly after the creation of the parish, a chapel was built, which served as the church until the construction of the present church.
The church was built in 1992-1999 and consecrated in 1999. The designers were Włodzimierz Wojciechowski, Bogdan Celichowski and Wojciech Kasprzycki.
The unusual temple is built on the plan of an isosceles triangle with the roof rising towards the apex. There is a tower at the apex, a second, smaller tower is located on the north side. A chapel and other buildings belonging to the parish are located south of the church.
The front façade is dominated by a rosette with a Greek cross inscribed in it, between whose arms are images of the four evangelists.
In the chancel, lit from above by a skylight, there is a large crucifix and next to it a tabernacle in the shape of a globe. In the folds of the side walls there are paintings of Jesus I trust in you, St. Faustyna Kowalska, Immaculate Conception Mother of God, St. Joseph, St. Thaddeus Jude and St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe.
Above the entrance there is a music gallery.
In 2010 near the church there was unveiled a monument to the murdered policemen of the Second Polish Republic of Poznan Voivodeship, designed by Jerzy Suchanek. Until 2009 a monument to Karol Swierczewski also stood here.
