Muzeum Miejskie im. Maksymiliana Chroboka, Ruda Śląska

Maksymilian Chrobok Municipal Museum in Ruda Śląska - a museum covering Ruda Śląska in its current boundaries and neighboring towns. The museum is located on Wolności Street in Ruda district.

In 1976 the Municipal Regional Chamber was established in Ruda Śląska, operating at the Association of Friends of the City of Ruda Śląska. In 1983 this institution received the status and name of a Social Museum. In 1984 it was named after Maksymilian Chrobok - its co-organiser and first director. In December 1990, by virtue of a resolution of the Municipal Council, the Maksymilian Chrobok Civic Museum was taken over by the municipality and transformed into a municipal institution.
