"Malta" ice rink - an artificial ice rink in Poznań.
Launched in February 2001 by Poznańskie Ośrodki Sportu i Rekreacji on Lake Malta - initially in Krańcowa Street, between the finish line of the racetrack and the hangars. Since the 2004/2005 season moved to a more accessible area, at Jana Pawła II Street. It was the first artificial ice rink in Poznan launched since the closure of "Bogdanka" in 1994.
It is a seasonal facility, operating roughly from about mid-November to early April, with an area of 600m². Since the 2001/2002 season it has been roofed with a special tent.
Access to the ice rink is possible by public transport - bus lines 57, 84 and streetcar lines 4, 6, 7, 16, 17 to the Baraniaka stop.
