Rezerwat Krutynia

Krutynia Górna Nature Reserve - a forest nature reserve established in 1983 for the protection of Krutynia Lake with a complex of aquatic vegetation together with the upper stretch of the Krutynia River and the adjacent deciduous and mixed forests. It is located in the Piecki commune, in the County of Mragowo, in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Province. It covers the area of 271.01 ha. Forest areas within the borders of the reserve lie on the land administered by the Strzałowo Forest Inspectorate.
There is a picturesque section of the Krutynia River winding through the forests. The reserve is a borderland forest stand in the Masurian Lake District. The reserve is located in the Masurian Landscape Park.
A 2.5 km long nature trail called "The Krutynia Reserve" runs through the reserve.
