Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Olecko - the oldest church in Olecko. It belongs to St. John the Apostle deanery of Olecko diocese of Elk. It is located on Zamkowa Street.
It was built in neo-Gothic style in the years 1859-1861. The church was consecrated by bishop Antoni Frenzel on August 27, 1862. On March 31, 1871 the church became a parish church. In 1987-1989 it was a rector's church and since 1989 it is a parish church again. The tower is from 1920, the brick chapel is from the second half of the 19th century. In the chancel there is a wooden altar from the second half of the 19th century, two identical wooden side altars are from the second half of the 19th century. The wooden pulpit comes from the second half of the 19th century and the wooden baptismal font comes from the same period. Currently, the parish priest and custodian of the Sanctuary of the Holy Cross in Olecko is prelate Andrzej Jasko, the vicar Fr Pawel Lenda
