Facts and practical information

Holy Trinity Church in Bieździedza - a historic stone church from the 15th century, located in Bieździedza. Holy Trinity Church was built between 1402-1409 on the site of the previous parish church, destroyed by fire in 1400. It was consecrated in 1453 by Cardinal Zbigniew Oleśnicki. In 1615 the Romer family added a chapel to the church, in the basement of which their family tomb is located. The parish complex consists of a Gothic temple, bell tower and the wall surrounding the former cemetery. It is the oldest monument of sacral architecture in the diocese of Rzeszow. On August 31, 1879 during the repair of the wooden bell tower there was a fire. Burned all the church equipment. Since 1880 the church was equipped with a new floor, bells, main altar and side altars, chapel, baptistery, choir and organ. The contemporary restored furnishings are therefore neo-Gothic. The church has undergone a comprehensive renovation in recent years.
