St. Alexe Church in Czułczyce - originally an Orthodox church, since 1945 a Roman Catholic church of St. Roch.
The Orthodox church was founded in 1905 by the merchant Jan Kovalevsky from Moscow, inspired by the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Mother of God from Chelm. Since 1918 the church was temporarily used by Catholics. In 1919-1945 the church was the seat of the part-time branch of the Orthodox parish in Chelm. After displacement of the Orthodox population during the deportation of Ukrainians to the USSR, on August 2, 1945 the district of Chelm returned it to the Roman Catholic parish, and then it was given its present name.
The building is made of brick, has a single nave, a tower on the front, the interior partly transferred from the former parish church, the main altar is rococo, probably the work of Michael Filewicz from the late eighteenth century. In this altar there are paintings of St. Roch and Our Lady of Czestochowa. The side altars: Heart of Jesus and St. Joseph, made after World War II by the folk sculptor A. Siek from Bilgoraj. Rococo pulpit from the late eighteenth century, the early Baroque baptismal font. In the sacristy 2 antique monstrances from the 18th century on the choir, 5-voice organ.
