Wyspy Świderskie Nature Reserve - a faunal nature reserve established in 1998, located in the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna and the towns of Karczew, Otwock and Józefów in Mazowieckie Province. It covers an area of 572.28 ha. It includes numerous islands, shallows and sandbanks at the mouth of the Œwider River and flowing waters of the Vistula River.
The aim of establishing the reserve was to protect water ecosystems in the middle Vistula riverbed, of natural or close to natural character. It is a nesting and feeding site for rare bird species and a refuge for animals associated with aquatic environment. In the reserve 163 plant species and 175 vertebrate species were found, including 140 species of birds.
The reserve belongs to the national ecological network ECONET-POLAND.
