Kościół Świętych Kosmy i Damiana

Church of Sts. Kosma and Damian in Okonin - Catholic church located in the village of Okonin, established in the first half of the 14th century, built of brick.

The church is Gothic in character, oriented, standing on a small hill surrounded by a wall. The main building material of the temple is brick, with rhombic use of zendrowka, fieldstones were used for the foundation. On the northern side there is a massive, escarped tower. As a result of numerous construction works, a very interesting shape was created, out of which the porch and picturesque eastern and western gables stand out.

The hall-like interior of the church is decorated with Gothic and Baroque polychromes. A significant part of the equipment also comes from the Baroque period.
