Wzgórze Zielonka, Wolin National Park
Facts and practical information
Zielonka - a hill on the island of Wolin, on the Lubin-Wapnica Hills, in Wolin National Park, east of the village of Lubin. About 0.4 km to the northeast is Lelowa Góra.
The Route of the Baltic Sea and the Szczecin Lagoon leads to the top of Zielonka. The hill is a popular viewpoint and the only place where you can simultaneously observe the Szczecin Lagoon, the Świna River backwater delta, Lake Wicko Wielkie and the Baltic Sea. You can also see Lubin, Swinoujscie, the Golm hill and, if the visibility is good, Ahlbeck. The International Society of Nature Friends named it "Landscape of the Year 1993/94".
The name Zielonka was officially introduced by ordinance in 1949, replacing the previous German name Blätter Berg.
