Monument to Arka Bozek - located on Opawska Street in Racibórz, monument to Arka Bozek, mayor of Markowice in the years 1927-1933, farmer, Polish activist, publicist, member of the National Council in London in exile, and after the war deputy governor of Silesia.
The monument, designed by sculptor Augustyn Dyrda, was cast in Gliwice. It depicts the Ark of Bolek with outstretched arms, as a gesture of a man eager to help others. The location of the monument met with much criticism; the area on the outskirts of today's Roth Park was suggested as a better place for the monument. A square was created in front of the monument, which is now often used by skaters and skateboarders. In 2013 it was moved and placed at the entrance to Roth Park from Opawska Street.
