It is a former Evangelical church, built in 1829-1830, designed by German architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It is a three-nave, hall-like building with a tower and characteristic rustication decorating the facade. In 1945 the building was taken over by the Catholic Church. To this day nothing of the original furnishing of the church has survived. The interior of the church was heavily rebuilt after 1945. In the presbytery there is a contemporary altar with the statue of St. Stanislaus Kostka. Only the lower floor of the former empora with two tiers has survived. The interior is very simple and austere with no paintings.
