Dormition of the Holy Mother of God Church is an Orthodox concathedral and parish church in Przemyśl. It belongs to Przemyśl decane of Przemyśl diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
The church is located at 24 Wilchanska Street.
A brick church with three domes. Erected after 1887 in place of the former wooden church, as a Greek-Catholic church.
Destroyed after World War II, it was renovated in 1982-1984. Next to the church there is a bell tower with historic bells from the second half of the eighteenth century and a cemetery.
On the basis of the Act of 17 December 2009 on the regularization of the legal status of certain properties remaining in the possession of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church, the temple became the sole property of the Orthodox Church, while the Greek Catholic Church received compensation from the State Treasury.
In March 2011 unknown perpetrators broke into the church and robbed two crosses, a chalice and a paten. The censer was destroyed. Losses were estimated for 10 thousand zloty.
The church, bell tower and cemetery were entered into the register of monuments on 7 June 1983 under the number A-445.
