Bronisława Śmidowiczówna's bench - a monument commemorating the 1901 Wrzesińska Children's Strike, co-organized by Bronisława Śmidowiczówna. The school bench was made of bronze. It is life-sized and based on the model of a school bench from the museum hall. The figure of the girl is reproduced on the basis of a photograph by F. Furmanek. Bronisława Śmidowiczówna, sitting on the bench, holds a catechism in Polish to her chest, while with her other hand she pushes away a catechism in German. The construction of the monument was initiated by the councilman Szymon Paciorkowski. The idea met with the positive opinion of the Mayor of Września Tomasz Kałużny. The bench was designed by Jerzy Sobociñski, an artist from Poznañ, and made by his son Robert Sobociñski.
