Rezerwat Nad Tanwią

Nad Tanwią - landscape and forest nature reserve located in Susiec commune, small fragments of it are in Narol commune. The reserve is located in the area of the Landscape Park of the Solska Forest.
Area - 41,33 ha, Area - 47,49 ha, year of creation: - 1958, appointing document - Order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 18 July 1958 on recognition as a nature reserve. Goal of protection - "preservation in a natural state of a picturesque and characteristic landscape of the Tanew and Jelenia creek valleys with numerous waterfalls in a rocky riverbed and a mixed forest with fir tree on the border of its natural range".
The main attraction of the reserve are 24 rocky thresholds, forming picturesque waterfalls. They were formed as a result of tectonic movements during the folding of the Carpathians. The geological boundary dividing Western Europe - folded and Eastern Europe - plate - runs here.
In the reserve there is a nature-didactic path "Nad Tanwią" about 3 km long.
