Szum Nature Reserve - a landscape and forest nature reserve located in Tereszpol municipality, Biłgoraj county, Lublin province. It lies in the buffer zone of the Roztoczański National Park.
geographical location: Central Roztocze, area : 16.96 ha, area : 18.03 ha, year of establishment: 1958, appointing document: Order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 18 July 1958 on recognition as a nature reserve. Object of protection : preservation of the Szum River gorge through the edge zone of Middle Roztocze. The Szum River creates here numerous small waterfalls called "hummocks".
Numerous protected species occur in the reserve: woodruff, sundew, sundew round-leaved, sundew intermediate, snowdrop, ivy, lily of the valley, clubmoss, clubmoss, clubmoss, and clubmoss.
The reserve is crossed by a red "edge" tourist trail and two didactic paths - one arranged by the Zwierzyniec Forest District and the other by Kompania Piwowarska.
