Rezerwat Brodogóry

Brodogóry Nature Reserve - a steppe reserve located in Western Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the administrative district of Pyrzyce, in the municipality of Warnice; a separate patch of the reserve with an area of 0.78 ha is located in the municipality of Pyrzyce. The reserve lies to the east of the village of Grêdziec, 1.8 km east-north-east of the estuary of the P³onia River into the Miedwia River, 8 km north-northeast of Pyrzyce, on the north-west side of the 106 road. The area of the reserve stretches for about 1.4 km, on the east side of the Stary Przylep - Wierzbno road.
The reserve was established by order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry on February 14, 1957. Originally it covered the area of 9.00 ha. In 1978, by order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 10 April the area of the reserve was reduced to its present size of 5.24 ha.
The aim of protection is preservation of relict and unique in Pomerania xerothermic grasslands with protected and rare species of xerothermic plants and fungi. These include Stipa capillata, Anthericum lilago, and Campanula bonionensis and Campanula sibirica.
The area of the reserve is under active protection.
The reserve is located within two Natura 2000 network areas: the special bird protection area "Lake Miedwie and surroundings" and the special habitat protection area "Dolina Płoni i Jezioro Miedwie".
