Games and People Theatre - a theater association based in Katowice, Poland.
The Games and People Theatre was founded in 1997. The theater's repertoire includes outdoor performances, stage productions and performances for children. Since its inception, the Theatre has been a traveling company, performing on national and international stages.
The theater's stage is located in the historic building of the former railroad station in Katowice-Dąbrówka Mała at Aleja Niepodległości 2: Sarah Kane's "Phaedra's Love" and Brad Fraser's "Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love," Marius von Mayenburg's "Martyrs," "Australia Tomorrow," based on Hanoch Levin, or "Quanta" and "The Tailor." Since 2018, the theater has been hosting the Jazz and People series of concerts of ambitious music.
The company consists of people with different roots and artistic experiences. The theater cooperates with institutional theaters and other independent theaters, as well as with institutions such as the Silesian Theatre in Katowice, the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, City of Katowice, Katowice Miasto Ogrodów - Krystyna Bochenek's Institution of Culture, or TVP3 Katowice. Moreover, Teatr Gry i Ludzie organizes free workshops for children and teenagers, among others, during summer artistic festivals organized at its seat in Dąbrówka Mała.
The Games and People Theatre has so far prepared -outdoor performances - "Bolero", "Bird Parade", "Mirror", "Walk of Angels", "Sleeping Knights", "Venice Parade", "Ballad of Jan Wnęk", "Jugglers", "Facelifting", "Midsummer Night" and "Steampunk Parade".

Teatr Gry i Ludzie has performed at festivals and other events in many Polish cities, from Cieszyn and Wisła to Łódź and Gdańsk; from Jelenia Góra to Białystok and from Szczecin to Rzeszów and Przemyśl. He participated many times in the "Malta" Festival in Poznań, "Street Art" in Warsaw or "Feta" in Gdańsk, as well as abroad: at the International Festival for the Promotion of European Culture in Tunisia, Sziget Festival in Budapest, Volt Festival in Sopron, Loolapalooza in Berlin, and also in Holland or the United Arab Emirates.
