Church of St. Anne and St. Martin - a Mariavite temple in Stryków, the seat of the parish of St. Anne and St. Martin in that city, located in the Silesian-Lodz Diocese of the Old Catholic Mariavite Church in Poland.
St. Anne and St. Martin Church is located in Strykow, 34 Warszawska Street, in Zgierz County, Lodz Province. It was built by Strykow Mariavites in 1907 in Neo-Gothic style.
Construction of the Mariavite parish church began in May and was completed with the consecration on November 10, 1907. The church is oriented, built on a regular rectangular plan with dimensions of 33.5 Х 15.5 m, and is a three-nave basilica without transept. Its shape combines elements taken from Romanesque art: double windows with full arches, arcade frieze and Gothic: red, unplastered walls, buttresses, soaring towers. The church was designed by an evangelist from Latvia, Alwill Jankau.
The temple has a quadrilateral chancel, in which there is a large altar built in the shape of a confession. The confessional is made of wood in the color of white and gold and is crowned with a tiara - the crown of Christ the King, on which two keys are crossed, symbols of the earthly and heavenly authority of Jesus Christ, and a sculpture depicting a pelican feeding its young with its own blood. The central part of the altar of sacrifice is occupied by the centrally located tabernacle topped with a confession, under which the Most Holy Sacrament is exposed. The confession together with the presbytery is limited from three sides by an oak balustrade. The altar with confession comes from 1910. Behind the altar there is a painting of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. On the rainbow arch is painted the inscription ALL THE EARTH WILL ADORE YOU AND BEGGET YOU.
The main nave with a barrel ceiling is supported by eight columns, four on each side. The side naves have flat ceilings. The composite columns are modeled on those of the Ionic and Corinthian order. The last two columns on the side of the large door support the choir with a 12-voice organ, which dates from 1985.
The walls of the side aisles from the side of the confession are decorated on both sides with two large a fresco paintings depicting the high altar in the Temple of Mercy and Love in Plock as well as the Mariavite cathedral and fragments of the monastery. The paintings are dated 1933.
The mosaic, ceramic floor dates from 1910. In the nave are two rows of pine pews from 1997, the previous ones dating from 1910.
