Janinowskie Steamboat Nature Reserve - a forest nature reserve in the municipality of Brzeziny, Brzezin County, Łódź Province, in the Lodz Heights Landscape Park. It is located in the Janinów forestry district, within the Brzeziny forest.
The reserve was established in 2000 and occupies an area of 41.66 ha. The purpose of protection of the reserve is preservation for scientific and didactic reasons of a fragment of beech forest with a complex of erosion ravines, characteristic for the edge zone of the Lodz Heights.
It includes part of the biggest beech forest in central Poland and protects a system of ravines created as a result of erosion caused by agricultural activity. The erosion of formerly arable land by rainwater continues in the direction from the north to the south. The total length of the ravines is about 2.5 kilometers and their depth reaches 8 meters. At the bottom of the ravines there are several erratic boulders with a circumference of more than 4 meters.
The most interesting plants include broad-leaved helleborine, lily of the valley, and fern.
According to the current protection plan established in 2011, the reserve area is under active protection.
The reserve is located within the Natura 2000 network habitat area "Buczyna Janinowska" PLH100017.
